Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her hand at TV and film roles. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she landed an acting role on The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. The story of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The degrading of this relationship is similar to Walter White's dying days.
